Samba DC Ayushi Sudan Reviews LPG eKYC Progress; Directs 100% Saturation

SAMBA, APRIL 11, 2026— Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan chaired a high-level review meeting today at the District Administrative Complex to evaluate the ongoing eKYC verification for LPG consumers and streamline the distribution of gas cylinders across the district.

During the session, Assistant Director of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs (FCS&CA), Rahul Gupta, presented a comprehensive status report identifying current coverage gaps and outlining a strategic roadmap to reach full compliance.

To ensure no consumer is left behind, the Deputy Commissioner issued strict directives to all stakeholders and department officers to accelerate the eKYC process under a rigorous, time-bound schedule.

Emphasizing the need for accountability and intensified field operations, she set fresh targets aimed at achieving 100% saturation within the district’s stipulated timelines.

In a strategic move to maximize public outreach, the administration decided to integrate the eKYC drive with the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan. By leveraging existing field-level awareness campaigns, officials hope to foster better public engagement and facilitate smoother verification.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including the Tehsildar HQA, Assistant Controller of the Legal Metrology Department (LMD), Tehsil Supply Officers (TSOs), and various representatives from local LPG agencies.
