Salman Khan in Leh, Meets LG for Upcoming Film ‘Battle of Galwan’ Shoot

Ladakh 13 September :- Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is currently in Leh, where he met with the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta , at the Raj Niwas on Saturday.

The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the shooting schedule of his highly anticipated upcoming film, ‘Battle of Galwan’. The film is slated to be shot in and around the Leh region, and the discussions focused on seeking necessary permissions and administrative support from the local authorities for a smooth production process.

The news of Salman Khan’s arrival in Leh has generated tremendous excitement among his legion of fans in the region. Furthermore, this shoot is expected to turn Leh into a significant hub of film activity in the coming months, potentially giving a substantial boost to local tourism.

Due to this commitment, Salman will be temporarily absent from hosting the popular weekend episodes of his reality show, “Bigg Boss,” with his work in Ladakh being cited as the reason for his unavailability on the “Weekend Ka Vaar” episodes.

In ‘Battle of Galwan’, Salman Khan will be essaying the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the Commanding Officer of the 16 Bihar regiment who was posthumously awarded the Maha Vir Chakra, India’s second-highest gallantry award, for his exemplary courage and supreme sacrifice during the 2020 India-China clash in the Galwan Valley.

Meanwhile, videos and pictures of the actor from various locations in Leh-Ladakh have gone viral on social media, delighting his fans who are thrilled to see him in the region.
