Sainik School Nagrota Cadets Achieve National Distinction at Republic Day Camp 2025–26

NAGROTA, FEBRUARY 06, 2026 — Cadets from Sainik School Nagrota have once again demonstrated exceptional talent and discipline, bringing significant honors to the institution following their participation in the month-long Republic Day Camp (RDC) 2025–26 in New Delhi.

Representing the Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh Directorate, three outstanding cadets showcased their skills at the prestigious DG NCC camp held from late December through January. Highlighting the school’s diverse training, Cadet Pulkit Sharma contributed to the Cultural Programme as a guitarist and dancer, while Cadet Satinder Bhagat’s performance in the Group Dance earned him a coveted spot in the Prime Minister’s Rally Dance.

A standout achievement was recorded by Cadet Aryan Sharma of the 01 J&K Naval NCC, Srinagar, who was adjudged the Best Cadet (JD Naval) from Jammu & Kashmir. For his consistent and superior all-round performance, he was honored with the Governor’s Certificate of Excellence.

Collectively, the school’s contributions helped the J&K Composite Dance team secure a remarkable second-place finish among 17 NCC Directorates nationwide. These accolades underscore the rigorous standards of leadership and discipline maintained at Sainik School Nagrota, further cementing its reputation as a premier training ground for the youth of the Union Territory.
