Safe Passage Ensured for Manimahesh Yatris Stranded on Bhaderwah–Chamba Route

Bhaderwah, Aug 31: The District Administration Doda has ensured the safe passage of Manimahesh Yatris stranded on the Bhaderwah–Chamba route following recent bad weather conditions.

Acting on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhaderwah, Sunil Bhutyal, along with Tehsildar Bhaderwah, Kamalpreet Singh, and XEN PWD (R&B), visited the Himachal border area on Saturday to assess the situation.

Officials supervised restoration work on damaged stretches of the road, following which vehicles carrying devotees were allowed to move safely after proper assessment. The administration took swift measures to ensure that no inconvenience was caused to the pilgrims.

Authorities have also appealed to devotees and travellers to remain cautious and strictly follow weather advisories and instructions issued by the District Administration to ensure their safety during the ongoing yatra.
