Route March cum briefing of Nafri deployed for election duty in Nagrota-77 AC ahead of by Poll

Jammu,30 October A route march-cum-briefing of the nafri deployed for election duties in the rural zone of Jammu District was conducted under the close supervision of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, JKPS, in Nagrota Town.

Personnel from the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and local police participated in the exercise.The march was also participated by Police Observer Avinash Kumar, IPS, and Expenditure Observer Ashish Yadav, IDAS, along with SP Rural Jammu Brijesh Sharma, JKPS, SDPO Nagrota, Tehsildar Nagrota, and SHO Nagrota.

This route march formed part of the standard security measures undertaken to ensure safety, law and order during the upcoming Nagrota Assembly Constituency bye-election. The exercise aimed to familiarize security personnel with the local area and strengthen preparedness to handle any potential law and order situations during the electoral process.

The visible presence of security forces acts as a deterrent to anti-social or disruptive elements while instilling confidence among the public and encouraging greater participation in the democratic process.Such coordinated exercises also enhance teamwork and inter-agency coordination among the security forces, ensuring a free, fair, and transparent electoral environment in keeping with the democratic ethos of the nation.
