Srinagar 25 September :- Jammu and Kashmir Police IRP 20 Battalion has actively conducted a clean polythene waste initiative at Parihaspora, aiming to save the environment and support public health. The IRP 20 Battalion launched special cleanliness drives at its headquarters in Parihaspora, directly targeting the removal of polythene waste as part of broader environmental campaigns.IRP 20 Battalion’s campaign included extensive cleaning, segregation, and disposal of polythene waste from and around the Battalion Headquarters at Parihaspora.
The initiative supported both Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and the Jammu & Kashmir government’s plastic ban policy, involving police personnel in maintaining public and workplace cleanliness.Senior police officials have lauded the ongoing efforts and stressed regular participation in such environmental campaigns, urging all security forces stationed at Parihaspora to continue these activities during public gatherings and routine duties.
