Ravinder visits rain affected areas of Sunderbani, seeks relief,restorations on war footing 

Rescue, relief, still missing at several remote rain,flood  affected areas 

Sunderbani, 15 September :- JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma ( Former MLC) has said that relief, restoration and rehabilitation work should be expedited as in several areas the rescue, relief measures are missing & people are suffering a lot due to lack of restoration of connectivity and water supplies besides living under risk.

Sharma conducted extensive tour of different affected areas of Sunderbani and adjoining areas and met the affected population whose houses git damaged apart from damage to roads,water supplies and causing risk to residential localities due to landslides. 

Accompanied by a team of Congress, youth Congress and seva Dal workers, Sharma supplied some relief material from IYC to dislocated families. They also visited Kangri area where mother, daughter died due to house collapse. 

Block President N C Sharma, AYC President Arvind Sudan, Virinder Singh, Sanjay Sharma, Manish Kumar, Pranshul Chadha,  Ranjit Kumar accompanied him.

Senior Congress leader has asked the administration to reach out to all affected areas and restore road, connectivity & water supplies to all areas. 

He also referred to several areas like Kasandhar in Akhnoor area where inhabitants are reportedly living in great risk and lack any connectivity to shift to safer places. The government should immediately shift them to safer location. 

Several families are residing in Rah school and Gandeh school after getting uprooted from their residences,the government should allot vacant state lands available in nearby localities besides giving financial aid for the construction of houses.

He demanded a comprehensive package from the centre govt for the settlement and rehabilitation of affected families.
