During the meeting, Khan highlighted a range of public demands and developmental concerns including:Timely release of ST2 Pahari and other student scholarships.Effective implementation of the Tribal Sub-Plan.Upgradation of Government Schools in rural and border areas.Sports stadium for Mendhar,Balakote, Manakote. One indoor stadium for Mendhar SMART HOUSE for the people of Kalaban Sarothi, Bathadurria and Sangote Bunker for whole Balakote,AMT.
School For Mendhar.Govt Degree College for Balakote Completion of Batch 2 PMGSY roads to ensure better connectivity.Ambulance services for 7 Panchayats of Balakote, 3 Panchayats of Mankote, and 9 Panchayats of Mendhar.Establishment of a Kendriya vidyalaya for Mendhar to enhance educational facilities.Promotion of Border Tourism in Balakote to generate employment opportunities.Development of Border View Points where tourists can safely view the Line of Control under Army supervision.
Establishment of Peace Memorials and War Heritage Parks to honour the sacrifices of soldiers and promote patriotic tourism.Controlled visits coordinated with the Army and district administration (on the pattern of Kaman Post in Uri and Suchetgarh in Jammu).Delimitation of Panchayats to ensure fair representation.
Age relaxation for KAS aspirants, considering the unique challenges faced by youth of border districts.The Lt. Governor gave a patient hearing to all the issues raised and assured positive consideration and necessary action by the concerned departments.
