Ramban police bids adieu to SPO Sanatar Singh who sacrificed his life in the line of duty

Ramban 07 September :- On September 6, 2025, Special Police Officer (SPO) Sanatar Singh (No. 545/SPO) of Police Post Luroo, under the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramsoo, tragically lost his life while on duty. He came under landslides and shooting stones at Luroo, resulting in his on-the-spot demise.

On September 7, 2025, the last rites of the brave SPO were performed with full honors, acknowledging his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty. A Guard of Honour was presented by the District Police Ramban.Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramban, Arun Gupta (JKPS), along with Commanding Officer 12 RR Vijay Singh Punia, DySP Operations Majid Hussain, and SHO Ramsoo INSP. Fareed Ahmed, attended the funeral along with local villagers.

SSP Ramban and the district police team consoled the son and grieving family of the late SPO and assured them of full support and assistance from the Police Department.
