Rajouri School Inspection: CEO Suspends Three Teachers Over Unauthorized Absence
RAJOURI, February 5, 2026 — In a major crackdown on administrative negligence, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri, Mohd Hafiz, conducted a series of surprise inspections across several government educational institutions today, resulting in the immediate suspension of three staff members.
The raids, targeting schools within the Rajouri Municipal limits, were aimed at assessing staff punctuality and the overall quality of education delivery.
During his visit to Middle School (MS) Ward Number 8, the CEO found three teachers missing from their posts during official working hours without any prior authorization.
Taking swift disciplinary action, Mohd Hafiz ordered their suspension and demanded a rigorous investigation into their absence.
The inspection tour also included Government High School (GHS) Jawahar Nagar and PM Shri Boys Middle School (BMS) Jawahar Nagar, where various irregularities and non-compliance with departmental norms were observed. In addition to the suspensions, the CEO has issued a two-day ultimatum to other defaulting staff members to provide written explanations for their lapses.
Expressing deep concern over the impact of such negligence on students’ academic progress, Hafiz reiterated a “zero-tolerance” policy toward indiscipline. He directed all heads of institutions to enforce strict attendance, punctuality, and adherence to prescribed timetables, warning that any further dereliction of duty would lead to severe consequences under established service rules.
