Rajouri Police cracks theft case, accused arrested and stolen Property Recovered

Rajouri 17 October :- Police Station Kandi has achieved a major breakthrough in a theft case registered at Police Station Kandi under FIR No. 128/2025 U/S 331(4)/305 BNS and Case FIR No. 133/2025 U/S 303(2) BNS.

Acting swiftly on investigative leads and meticulous analysis of CCTV footage, the police team identified and apprehended the accused person Shokit Ali S/O Mohd Shafi R/O Kunderdhan Tehsil Chassana District Reasi.During sustained Questioning, the accused confessed to his involvement in the theft incidents.

On his disclosure police recovered stolen karyana items, other household goods and 04 motorcycles.The operation was carried out by the dedicated team of Police Station Kandi led by SHO Kandi under the supervision of Dy.SP (PC) Rajouri.

Rajouri Police reiterates its firm commitment towards combating crime and ensuring public safety. The general public is appealed to install CCTV cameras in and around their establishments to aid police in crime prevention and detection.
