Rajouri Deputy Commissioner Approves In-Situ Promotions for Revenue Officials to Kick Off 2026

Rajouri January 01, 2026 :- In the first major administrative action of the New Year, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, has officially approved in-situ promotions for four officials within the Revenue Department.

This move, aimed at boosting staff morale and rewarding long-standing service, marks the district’s initial administrative milestone of 2026. The promotions were granted under the guidelines of SRO-14, dated January 15, 1996, and align with the subsequent clarifications issued by the Finance Department.

As per the official order, the designated officials have been elevated from Pay Level-4 to Pay Level-5.The beneficiaries of this promotion order include Junior Assistants Naveed Ahmed, Sosan Sharma, Vijay Kumar, and Abid Hussain.

While congratulating the officials, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma emphasized that career progression should serve as a catalyst for improved performance.

He expressed his expectation that the promoted staff would carry out their responsibilities with renewed vigor, efficiency, and a steadfast commitment to public service, ultimately strengthening the administrative framework of the Rajouri district.
