Jammu 24 August :- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is set to arrive in Jammu today to review the aftermath of the Chashoti cloudburst, following a minor alteration in travel plans.
His initial aircraft returned to Delhi after a technical snag was detected mid-flight.Assured by officials that his itinerary remains on track, the Minister will now travel on a separate aircraft. He will be accompanied by Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State in the PMO.
The key objectives of the visit include an aerial survey of the Kishtwar region and a comprehensive review of the rescue and relief efforts currently underway for the 32 missing persons.
