Pulwama Police Continues Anti-Drug Drive; 64 Grams Charas-Like Substance Recovered
Pulwama 29 November :- a continued crackdown on drug menace, Pulwama Police recovered 64 grams of Charas-like substance at Rajpora Crossing on the New Circular Road. A police naka party intercepted an Alto 800 vehicle (JK13A/8847) moving from Bandzoo towards Newa.
Upon checking, 04 sticks of Charas-like substance were recovered from the possession of the driver, identified as Shabir Ahmad Teli, S/o Ghulam Hassan Teli, R/o Drabgam.
The vehicle involved in the commission of the offence was also seized on the spot.In this regard, FIR No. 278/2025 under Sections 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at the Police Station Pulwama. Investigation is underway.
Pulwama Police urges the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious drug-related activities to the nearest Police Station, reinforcing the collective resolve for a drug-free Pulwama.
