VIJAYPUR, FEBRUARY 07, 2026: Under the proactive “Health is Wealth” initiative, the Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur successfully organized a comprehensive one-day seminar and practical training session on First Aid Management. Inaugurated by Principal PTTI Vijaypur, Ranjit Singh Sambyal (IPS), in collaboration with the NGO “THE-SARA,” the program was designed to equip police staff and trainees with the critical skills needed to respond effectively to both man-made and natural disasters.
The seminar drew participation from over 200 attendees, emphasizing the role of law enforcement as first responders in emergency situations where immediate medical intervention can save lives.The training was led by National Master Trainer Dr. Itinder Pal Singh Bali and Dr. Raminder Jit Singh, Director of THE-SARA, who provided in-depth lectures followed by rigorous hands-on demonstrations. Participants received practical instruction on high-stakes life-saving techniques, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), the proper stabilization and management of fractures and burns, and an introduction to Psychological First Aid for trauma victims.
Principal Sambyal lauded the experts for their contribution, noting that such professional development is vital for maintaining an agile and humanitarian police force capable of serving the community with technical proficiency during crises.
