Property worth 1 Crores under NDPS attached by Udhampur Police
Udhampur 15 November :- Udhampur Police Attaches Property belonging to Notorious Drug Peddler Vikram Jeet of Amritsar Worth ₹ 1 Crore Under NDPS Act*Udhampur.
As Per Reports During the course of investigation in Case FIR No. 71/2025 U/S 8/21/22/27(A)/29 NDPS Act, 111 BNS registered at Police Station Majalta. it has been revealed that accused Vikramjeet Kumar, S/o Sukh Raj, R/o Inderpuri, Gali No. 1, Tehsil & District Amritsar is in possession of a duplex residential house.
Based on material collected during investigation, the Investigating Officer has reason to believe that the said property has been acquired from the proceeds of crime generated through narco trade.
Accordingly, acting as per mandate of law, the property has been attached under Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act for further legal action.The estimated market value of the duplex house is 1 Crore which now stands attached under the provisions of Section 68(F) of the NDPS Act as part of Udhampur Police’s sustained crackdown against narcotics-related offences.
It is pertinent to mention that Udhampur Police has attached property worth ₹11.62 Crore in NDPS-related cases during the current year, reaffirming its firm resolve to make Udhampur a Drugs-Free District.
