VIJAYPUR 18th August: Four courses viz., “02-months Basic Induction course, 6-weeks Disaster Management course, 02-weeks Anti Sabotage check & X-ray Baggage scanner course and 01-week Role Based Training under CCTNS” commenced at PTTI Vijaypur in which about (75) Police personnel of various units of Police Department are participating. All the courses were formally inaugurated by Ranjit Singh Sambyal-IPS, Principal PTTI Vijaypur who in his inaugural address briefed the participating officers/officials about the basic concepts of these courses and emphasized upon them to take keen interest in their training and maintain proper discipline in the Institute during their training period.
Principal said that in Basic Induction course, the trainees will teach about the security duty, security gadgets, weapon handling etc whereas DM course aims to provide knowledge to the trainees in the area of disaster preparedness & mitigation, response mechanism, search, rescue & first Aid. Similarly, the ASC course will be focused on security concepts, equipment & technology, search techniques, anti sabotage check procedures, response to threats, coordination & role clarity etc and the trainees of CCTNS course will be imparted training on CCTNS architecture & modules, practical demonstration, citizens services, data quality & responsibility, cyber security & confidentiality etc. for enhancing the operational efficiency and effectiveness of policing especially at Police stations and at all levels. The officers included Vice Principal, DySP (Outdoor/Indoor) DySP Admn and senior prosecuting officers of the Institute were present on the occasion.
