Police Traces & Unites Missing Youth with Family in Baramulla

Baramulla 04 October : In a commendable display of prompt action and effective coordination, Police in Baramulla successfully traced and reunited a missing youth with his family, bringing much-needed relief to the distressed parents.On 28th September 2025, Police Station Sheeri received a written report from one Mushtaq Ahmad Lone son of Mohammad Sultan Lone resident of Sheeri, stating that his son Mubashir Ahmad Lone, aged about 18 years and reportedly mentally unsound, had gone missing from home on 25th September 2025.

Acting swiftly on the report, a missing entry was made in the daily diary of the police station, and a swift and coordinated search operation was launched. After sustained efforts and coordinated follow-up, the missing youth was successfully traced at New Delhi. On 3rd October 2025, the boy was safely brought back to Police Station Sheeri and subsequently reunited with his family members after completing all legal formalities and proper receipt.Police reaffirms its commitment to serve the community with compassion and dedication.
