Awantipora 10 September :- In continuation of its ongoing drive against illegal mining Police Awantipora seized 02 tippers and 01 JCB used in illegal excavation and transportation of minerals in Khrew.
Acting tough against the persons involved in illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Police party of Police Station Pampore headed by SHO PS Khrew Inspector Naieem Rashid seized two tippers bearing registration JK02AT-5249 , JK01L-9017 and 01 JCB without registration number.
Accordingly, case vide FIR NOs. 65/2025 and 66/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Khrew and further investigation has been initiated.
