Baramulla 23 August :- As part of the Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, 78 students along with 5 police officers/officials as caretakers from District Baramulla including PD Sopore, today flagged off for a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour–2025.An impressive flag-off ceremony was held at DPL Baramulla, where DIG NKR Baramulla Maqsood-ul-Zaman, accompanied by SSP Baramulla Gurinderpal Singh-IPS, Addl. SP Baramulla Hariprasad-IPS, SP Ops Baramulla Feroz Yehya-JKPS, DySP DAR DPL Baramulla Ajay Kumar and Umer Urfan-JKPS, PC Pattan, flagged off the group.Speaking on the occasion, DIG NKR advised the students to utilize this opportunity to broaden their horizons by visiting historical monuments and cultural marvels of the country. He encouraged them to imbibe the values of national integration and make the tour a memorable and life-changing experience.
SSP Baramulla, in his address, urged the students to focus on their studies for a successful future while also participating in sports to build self-confidence, concentration, and overall mental and physical health. He emphasized channelizing their energy in the right direction and making the best use of time.The tour has been fully sponsored by J&K police, covering boarding and lodging facilities, to-and-fro air travel, sightseeing and guided educational tours. The students will visit New Delhi and Kolkata, where they will explore places of historical, cultural, and educational importance.Parents and participants expressed gratitude to J&K Police for organizing such a motivational and educational initiative, enabling the youth to witness the diversity and progress of the nation.
