PM Modi Leading India Toward Global Superpower Status: Dr. Pardeep Mahotra
Jammu, 19 December 2025: As India aggressively pursues the “Viksit Bharat” vision to emerge as a dominant economic and strategic superpower, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has achieved unprecedented global recognition, according to J&K BJP Media Incharge Pardeep Mahotra. Highlighting the Prime Minister’s recent conferment of Oman’s highest civilian honor, Mahotra described the accolade as a monumental triumph for Indian diplomacy and a validation of the nation’s rising global stature. He emphasized that Modi has become the only global leader to receive top civilian honors from five of the six Gulf nations, a rare distinction that underscores the success of a foreign policy driven by mutual interest and people-centric development. These honors reflect India’s transition into a reliable partner for global peace, trade, and regional stability.
The recognition from Oman coincides with a significant milestone in economic diplomacy: the signing of the India-Oman Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) on December 18, 2025. Mahotra noted that this landmark free trade agreement—Oman’s first in nearly twenty years—will grant zero-duty access to over 98% of Indian exports, directly empowering Indian farmers, traders, and exporters. By expanding market access and accelerating investment flows, the agreement serves as a key component of India’s “FTA engine,” which is currently firing across major markets like the UAE, Australia, and the UK. Mahotra asserted that under the Modi government’s long-term roadmap, India is integrating economic expansion with national security and social empowerment, ensuring that the country remains on an irreversible path toward becoming a self-reliant, developed, and globally respected power.
