PM Modi announces end to Indus Water Treaty: “India’s Water Belongs Only to India

New Delhi 15th August :- In a landmark speech from the Red Fort on Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced India’s withdrawal from the Indus Water Treaty, stating, “Water and blood cannot flow together.”

The prime minister reiterated that the water rightfully due to India and its farmers will no longer be shared, indicating a hardline approach against Pakistan.

“The water which is rightfully India’s and Indian farmers’ will be only ours. No longer will we accept the Indus Water Treaty,” he declared. The PM also made a dire threat to the sponsors of terrorism, assuring that terrorists and their backers will be meted out the same punishment.

“Emphasizing India’s enhanced security position, Modi referred to “Operation Sindoor” as an example of the country’s military acumen and determination. “For decades, our nation was beset by terrorism, but today we have established a new normal,” he asserted, highlighting India’s zero-tolerance towards cross-border threats.
