Planned Power Shutdown in Parts of Jammu Tomorrow; Check Affected Areas
JAMMU, MARCH 15: Residents in several key localities of Jammu should prepare for scheduled outages tomorrow as the Chief Engineer (Distribution) of JPDCL Jammu has announced a planned power shutdown for maintenance and repair work.
According to the official notification, the electricity supply to Transport Nagar, Narwal, Railway Colony, portions of Channi Himmat, Malik Market, Upper Chowadhi, Matto Colony, Bathindi, Sunjwan, Boria, and neighboring vicinities will be suspended on March 16 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
In addition to the extended outage, a specific short-term disruption will affect Bathindi, Sunjwan, and their surrounding areas on the same day. These locations will experience brief power cuts during two specific windows: from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and again from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM.
Residents are advised to plan their daily activities and electronic usage accordingly to minimize inconvenience during these maintenance hours.
