Office bearers from major telecom and postal pensioners’ organizations, affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), held a high-level meeting with Union Minister Jitendra Singh at the DoPT headquarters to discuss critical issues regarding service, employment, and pension administration. Representing bodies such as the Bharatiya Doorsanchar Pensioners Sangh (BDPS) and the Bharatiya Postal Pensioners Sangh (BPPS), the delegation expressed strong appreciation for the government’s proactive and employee-friendly stance, noting that current policies have significantly improved the welfare of retirees. During the consultative session, the Minister listened to various organizational concerns, including the need for enhanced coordination between departments and the timely flow of information to ensure retirees do not face avoidable hurdles. Jitendra Singh reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a receptive and consultative approach, emphasizing that regular dialogue with veteran employee groups is essential for maintaining a responsive administrative process. Key representatives in attendance included Hari Vinayak Sowani, Sashikant Kulkarni, R.C. Pandey, and Ravishil Verma, all of whom characterized the interaction as a constructive step toward strengthening the digital and administrative support systems for former public service employees.
