Operation Jwala: White Knight Corps Recovers War-Like Stores Following Foiled Infiltration Bid on LoC

SUNDARBANI, J&K — February 20, 2026:- In a major update to the ongoing Operation Jwala, the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps has recovered a significant cache of war-like stores following a thwarted infiltration attempt at Nathua Tibba, Sundarbani.

The operation, which began in the early hours of February 19 along the Line of Control (LoC), saw troops from the Crossed Swords Division maintain a tight cordon and conduct a meticulous search of the rugged terrain.

During the search, security forces discovered heavily blood-stained tracks leading away from the encounter site, providing clear evidence that the terrorists sustained serious injuries during the initial exchange of fire.

The recovery operation yielded a variety of combat equipment and survival gear, including an AK-47 rifle, two magazines with live ammunition, three rucksacks, blankets, clothing, and dry rations. These findings underscore the high level of preparation by the infiltrators to sustain themselves in the hinterland.

Despite the recovery, the White Knight Corps has confirmed that search operations are still active in the sector, with troops maintaining heightened vigilance and firm domination of the area to ensure no remnants of the group remain.

This successful intervention highlights the Army’s unwavering commitment to border security and its proactive stance against cross-border terrorism.
