Srinagar 06 September :- Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Omar Abdullah, conducted an extensive visit to the flood-affected areas of the Anantnag district today to assess the damage first-hand and interact with the families whose lives have been disrupted by the natural calamity.
During his tour, the Chief Minister met with residents, listened to their grievances, and offered his sympathies for their losses. He firmly assured the affected communities that the government stands in solidarity with them during these testing times and is committed to providing all necessary assistance.
“All possible measures will be taken to help you recover and rebuild,” he stated, emphasizing that relief and rehabilitation efforts are a top priority for his administration.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by a high-level delegation including Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary, Minister Sakina Itoo, Minister Javed Rana, Advisor to the Chief Minister Nasir Aslam Wani, and the concerned MLAs of the district.
