Oath Ceremony and Meeting Held in Jammu Division as Part of “Vigilance Awareness Week 2025

Jammu 28 October :- As part of the nationwide campaign of the Central Vigilance Commission, officers and employees of the Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Jammu, under the leadership of Divisional Railway Manager, Vivek Kumar, administered the oath to work tirelessly to eradicate corruption. The oath pledged that everyone would work tirelessly to eradicate corruption in every sphere of life.

Additional Divisional Railway Manager, Akshay Kumar Marantu, and other senior officials were present at the oath-taking ceremony.In this context, as part of the “Vigilance Awareness Week 2025,” being observed from 27.10.2025 to 02.11.2025, a meeting was held in the Sankalp Auditorium of the Divisional Office, chaired by the Divisional Railway Manager, Jammu. This Vigilance Awareness Campaign is being celebrated under the theme “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility.”

During the meeting, the Vigilance Awareness Campaign is one of the Central Vigilance Commission’s participatory vigilance initiatives in the fight against corruption. The Vigilance Awareness Campaign aims to bring together all stakeholders. It is celebrated to create greater sensitivity about the need for ethics and transparency in governance and public administration. The Commission strives to promote integrity and eliminate corruption with the active support and participation of all citizens.

During this week, a campaign is launched focusing on preventive vigilance initiatives. Every year, Vigilance Awareness Week is celebrated in the week coinciding with the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Meanwhile, the Divisional Railway Manager of Jammu said, “We believe that as an organization, we must play a leading role in eliminating corruption and maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and good governance in all aspects of our operations.”
