Udhampur 16th August :-Police Team of Police Post Tikri led by its ICPP while performing Patrolling/checking duty at Naka Point Tikri intercepted one suspicious person who was coming from Manthal side and moving towards Tikri on foot and turned to be suspicious as he turned back and start moving backwards on seeing police team but was apprehended.
Upon frisking of said person namely Ajay Kumar @Ajju S/O Goga Ram R/O Mand, Tikri, Udhampur. Police team recovered 5.17 grams of heroin like contraband substance from the above said accused person who has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, A Case FIR No. 130/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS Rehambal.
Further investigation of the case is underway.
