Kishtwar 13 September :- Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the Army Commander, of Indian Army’s Northern Command conducted a comprehensive review of the security situation and ongoing counter-terrorism operations in the sensitive Kishtwar region.
Stressing the critical importance of maintaining a proactive and vigilant posture, Army Commander NC emphasized the force’s continued and unwavering commitment to sustained counter-terrorism efforts aimed at ensuring peace and security for the region’s inhabitants.
In addition to the security assessment, the Army Cdr NC also took stock of the recent flood situation that has impacted the area.
He commended the tireless work undertaken by the Indian Army units in restoring critical connectivity and providing vital, life-saving assistance to the civil population during the natural calamity, underscoring the Army’s role as a primary responder in times of crisis.
