Northern Army Commander Reviews Operational Preparedness and Security Grid in Kishtwar Sector

UDHAMPUR, March 23, 2026 — Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander of the Northern Command, conducted a high-level visit to the Kishtwar sector of Jammu and Kashmir to evaluate the prevailing security grid and operational readiness of the forces.

During the visit, the Army Commander engaged in detailed deliberations with commanders in the chain of command and held direct interactions with troops stationed in the field.
