NEW DELHI, January 15, 2026 — The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has issued a travel advisory today via X (formerly Twitter), warning passengers that flight operations across Northern India may be significantly impacted by adverse weather conditions.
Dense fog and low visibility are expected to cause widespread disruptions, including potential flight delays, extended holding patterns, diversions to alternate airports, or last-minute schedule adjustments.
As winter weather continues to affect the region’s aviation corridor, the AAI has urged travelers to proactively monitor their flight status and maintain close communication with their respective carriers to avoid inconvenience at the terminals.
To assist passengers during these weather-related uncertainties, the AAI provided a comprehensive list of customer support contacts for major airlines operating in the region.
