Srinagar 08 September :- The National Investigation Agency(NIA) launched coordinated search operations at 22 sites across six regions on Monday as part of a probe into a terror conspiracy. The extensive operation spans Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.
Officials provided a breakdown of the locations, indicating a significant focus on Jammu and Kashmir (9 locations) and Bihar (8 locations). Additional searches are underway in Uttar Pradesh (2), with one location each being covered in Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.
The Jammu and Kashmir raids are concentrated in the southern and northern districts of Baramulla, Kulgam, Anantnag, and Pulwama. The agency has yet to release specific findings, and more information is expected as the operations conclude.
