NHAI Announces Revised FASTag Annual Pass Rates for FY 2026–27 Effective April 1
NEW DELHI — March 15, 2026 — The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a revision in the FASTag Annual Pass fee for the upcoming Financial Year 2026–27, increasing the rate from ₹3,000 to ₹3,075.
Effective from April 1, 2026, this adjustment is in accordance with the National Highways Fee Rules, 2008, and applies to eligible non-commercial vehicles at approximately 1,150 fee plazas across National Highways and Expressways.
Designed to offer a cost-effective and seamless travel experience, the annual pass eliminates the need for frequent recharges by providing a one-year validity or a limit of 200 toll crossings through a single payment.
Since its launch in August 2025, the scheme has gained significant traction with over 56 lakh users.
Private vehicle owners can activate the revised pass within two hours of payment via the Rajmarg Yatra App or the official NHAI website, further promoting digital efficiency on India’s road network.
