NGO Jiyo aur Jeeno do organized awareness Program under NTCP
Udhampur 04 December :- NGO Jiyo Aur Jeene Do in assocation with the District Health Department Organised an awareness program at Government Middle School Megeni under NTCP which is being run at the national level.
The awareness program was organized with a motive to encourage students and all above ten years of age to stay away from tobacco.The usage of such harmful products is very harmful for our body and hence its side effects were discussed and students were informed to stay away from tobacco.
On this occasion, President of NGO Tariq Shah along with members Rajesh Khajuria, Mohini Verma, Dev Bajal, Aaqib, Dr. Vinay Gupta, Dr. Amrita Thakur and others were present.On this occasion,the children were informed about the ill effect of tobacco.
Member Mohini Verma told the children about the deadly consequences of using tobacco and tobacco products.She told that these substances are never advertised because they are extremely harmful for us.
Apart from this, Dr. Vinay Gupta also advised children to stay away from intoxicants like tobacco. Tariq Shah appreciated the anti-drug campaign being run by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and asked everyone to be a part of it. He said that use of such things spoils the life and future of children.
Dr. Amrita Thakur (Psychologist) advised children to stay away from things like tobacco and focus on their future. The school thanked the organization for such a fruitful awareness program.
