UDHAMPUR SEPTEMBER 18,2025: The NCC Cadets of 6 J&K Battalion NCC,Udhampur and 9 J&K Battalion NCC, Srinagar today visited Jagriti OldAge Home, as part of the ongoing Seva Parv activities.
The visit was marked by warmth, cultural performances, and heartfelt interactionswith the elderly residents.The cadets presented folk songs, dances, and speeches, creating anatmosphere of joy and celebration. They also engaged in meaningfulconversations with the residents, shared memorable moments, and presented fruits as a gesture of care and respect.
The event concludedwith photographs capturing the spirit of togetherness.The formal proceedings began with a welcome address by Lt. Kusha, ANO of 9 J&K Battalion NCC, Srinagar, and concluded with a vote of thanksby Lt. Kamaldeep, ANO of 6 J&K Battalion NCC, Udhampur.
Prof. Nalini Pathania, Principal of the College, appreciated thecadets and the officers for their noble initiative, emphasizing theimportance of empathy and service in character-building.The event was coordinated by the ANOs of both battalions, with special support from Bittu, Warden of Jagriti Old Age Home. The activitynot only strengthened the bond between the younger generation and theelderly but also reflected the true spirit of NCC’s motto – Unity andDiscipline.
