National Conference MLAs Protest Outside J&K Assembly Demanding Restoration of Statehood

JAMMU, February 3, 2026 — Lawmakers from the ruling National Conference (NC) held a demonstration outside the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly today, intensifying their demand for the immediate restoration of statehood.

Brandishing placards and chanting slogans, the NC MLAs also called for an end to the alleged harassment of Kashmiris residing in other Indian states and Union Territories, insisting that the regional identity and dignity of the people must be protected.
