BHADERWAH, SEPTEMBER 2: Member Legislative Assembly Daleep Singh Parihar today inaugurated the Maternity Waiting Home (Matri Ghar) at Sub District Hospital Bhaderwah in the presence of Dr. Versha Sharma.
The inauguration of the facility marks a significant step towards strengthening maternal and child healthcare services in the region. The Maternity Waiting Home will provide a safe and supportive environment to the expectant mothers, particularly those from far-flung and hard to reach areas, ensuring timely access to institutional deliveries and quality healthcare services.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLA appreciated the efforts of the health department in improving healthcare infrastructure and reiterated the government’s commitment to maternal and child health. BMO Dr. Versha Sharma also highlighted the importance of the facility in reducing maternal and neonatal risks.The event was attended by senior health officials, staff members and locals who welcomed the initiative.
