JAMMU, AUGUST 23: Mission Director HADP/JKCIP Sandeep Kumar today chaired meeting in the Conference Hall Directorate of Agriculture, Krishi Bhawan Talab Tillo to review the mid-line correction of HADP Projects P1 “Development of Seed and Seed Multiplication chain in PPP mode”, P9 “Farm Mechanization and Automation”, P14 “Promotion of Floriculture”, P15 “Rainfed Area Development (RAD)”, P20 “Innovative Approaches in Agricultural Extension” and P28 “Development of Fodder resources in J&K.”The meeting was attended by Director Agriculture Jammu, Director Horticulture Jammu, Director Animal Husbandry Jammu, Joint Directors, Scientists and officers from SKUAST-J, DSCO Jammu, Technical Officer HADP (DAJ) and other senior officers.
The Directors and senior officers from Agriculture and Allied Departments Kashmir, along with officers from SKUAST-K, joined the proceedings through video conferencing.During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held to finalize the formats, recommendations, mid-term proposals, address implementation bottlenecks and propose necessary mid-term corrections in the identified projects to ensure smooth execution and timely outcomes.Addressing the gathering, the Mission Director emphasized the importance of timely mid-line correction in the identified projects to ensure better outcomes and effective implementation.
He highlighted that the success of HADP lies in its ability to adapt and align with the emerging needs of farmers, technological interventions, and regional requirements. He further stressed on the need for strong inter-departmental coordination, timely reporting, and field-level monitoring to achieve the envisaged goals of the programme.The Mission Director urged all departments and stakeholders to work with a result-oriented approach, keeping farmers at the centre of planning and execution.
