MHA Transfers Two IPS Officers from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry
NEW DELHI | JANUARY 24, 2026 – The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has ordered the immediate transfer of two IPS officers of the AGMUT cadre.
According to an official notification issued today, the competent authority has approved the relocation of these officers from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry.
The order, signed by Under Secretary Rakesh Kumar Singh, remains in effect until further instructions are provided.The two officers affected by this reshuffle are both from the 2018 batch: Divya D, IPS (AGMUT: 2018) – Transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry and Ragav S, IPS (AGMUT: 2018) – Transferred from Jammu & Kashmir to Puducherry.
Copies of the transfer order have been dispatched to the Chief Secretaries of various states and Union Territories, including Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, and Ladakh, to ensure proper administrative coordination.
