Medical Shop Sealed for Illegal Sale of Schedule H1 Drugs at Chak Rakwalan by Udhampur Police

Udhampur 08 September :-Continuing its crackdown on the illegal sale of controlled substances. District Police Udhampur in coordination with the Drug & Food Control Organisation sealed M-Medical Hall at Chak Rakwalan for failing to maintain proper records and keeping drugs without valid prescriptions as mandated by law.

During the inspection, the team recovered & seized 15 strips of Pregabalin capsules found in the possession of the proprietor namely Munabar-Ul-Zaman S/o Gafoor Mohd. R/o Bakhal Hartaryan, Tehsil & District Udhampur without any corresponding sales/purchase records or valid medical prescriptions.District Police Udhampur has issued a stern warning to all medical establishments to strictly adhere to the regulations concerning the sale of controlled drugs. Strict legal action will be taken against those found violating these norms.
