Man Found Hanging Near Home in Ghordi

UDHAMPUR — January 17, 2026 A wave of shock spread through the Ghordi area of Udhampur district after the body of a local , identified as Mulkh Raj, was discovered hanging from a tree under mysterious circumstances outside his residence.

Upon receiving the information, a police team rushed to the spot and took the body into custody. The deceased was subsequently shifted to the Associated Hospital Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur, where a post-mortem examination was conducted to determine the exact cause of death.

Following the completion of legal and medical formalities, the body was handed over to the grieving family members for the last rites.

Meanwhile, the Police have officially registered a case and initiated a thorough investigation into the matter.
