Ramban, January 23, 2026: Heavy fresh snowfall has led to the complete suspension of traffic movement on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) in both directions, particularly affecting the area in and around the NAVYUG Tunnel.
Additionally, authorities have confirmed the closure of the Mughal Road, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road due to significant snow accumulation, effectively cutting off several key high-altitude routes. Travelers are strongly advised to avoid these roads until they are fully cleared and officially declared safe for vehicular traffic.
