Udhampur 22 August : In a significant administrative move aimed at streamlining operations, the Senior Superintendent of Police Udhampur Amod Ashok Nagpure has issued a large-scale transfer and posting order for 13 police officers across the district with immediate effect.
The reshuffle sees two high-profile postings at the Udhampur Police Station itself. Inspector Purab Singh has been transferred from Police Station Rehambal and appointed as the new Station House Officer (SHO) of the crucial Udhampur Police Station.
Conversely, Inspector Raghubir Singh the SHO of Police Station Udhampur, has been transferred and posted as the SHO of Police Station Chenani.
In other prominent postings, Inspector Neelam Saini has been appointed as the SHO of the Women Police Station Udhampur, while Inspector Anil Kumar Sharma will take charge as the SHO of Police Station Ramnagar.
Inspector Kapil Gupta moves from PCR Udhampur to SHO Police Station Panchari.Inspector Purshotam Kumar transferred and posted as SHO Rehamble.The order also includes reassignments for several Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs), including PSI Abdul Star who is now the SHO of Police Station Majalta, and PSI Rohin Chalotra who moves from PP Ponara to become SHO of Police Station Basantgarh.
