NEW DELHI, February 6, 2026 — Major General Rohit Teotia officially took over the mantle of the Dot on Target Division, assuming command from the outgoing General Officer Commanding (GOC), Major General Amit Talwar.
Marking the solemnity and tradition of the transition, Major General Teotia’s first act upon assuming his new role was to visit the Prerna Sthal, where he paid a poignant tribute to the fallen Bravehearts who made the supreme sacrifice in service to the nation.
Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the new commander interacted with the personnel, extending his warmest greetings and best wishes to All Ranks and their families.
He emphasized the division’s continued commitment to operational excellence and the welfare of its soldiers, signaling a seamless leadership transition for the formation as it continues its specialized duties.
