Lt Gen RC Tiwari Reviews Operational Readiness at Rangapahar Military Station

DIMAPUR, March 9, 2026 — Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of the Eastern Command, visited the Rangapahar Military Station of the Spear Corps today to personally review the operational preparedness of the troops stationed in the region.

During his high-level visit, the Army Commander was briefed on the prevailing security situation and the various measures being implemented to ensure regional stability. Lt Gen Tiwari interacted with the personnel across different ranks, commending them for their unwavering dedication to duty and their steadfast commitment to strengthening the nation’s security framework.

Highlighting the importance of civil-military synergy, the Commander praised the troops for their role in upholding public trust while maintaining exceptionally high morale despite the challenging operational environment.
