THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, March 13, 2026: In a significant move to bolster community healthcare and veteran support, Lt Gen Manjinder Singh, Army Commander of the Sapta Shakti Command and Colonel of the MADRAS Regiment, officially inaugurated the Pahzavangadi Mahaganpati Dialysis Centre at the Sree Mahaganpati Temple Regimental Institute.

The state-of-the-art facility is designed to provide free, life-saving dialysis treatments to nearly 250 economically disadvantaged families every month, ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to essential medical care.
By prioritizing both veterans and the wider community, the project underscores the Indian Army’s enduring commitment to the welfare of the society it serves.
This inauguration marks a milestone in the MADRAS Regiment’s legacy of dedication, transforming temple resources into a vital healthcare lifeline for the people of Thiruvananthapuram.
