Lt Gen Arvind Chauhan Reviews Operational Readiness of Sudarshan Chakra Corps
NEW DELHI, January 29, 2026 — Lt Gen Arvind Chauhan, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Sudarshan Chakra Corps, recently conducted a comprehensive visit to the Batticalao and Basantar Brigades of the Bison Division.
The visit was focused on evaluating the formation’s operational readiness and administrative efficiency. During the briefing, the GOC was updated on critical operational strategies, administrative milestones, and various developmental initiatives currently being implemented across all military domains to ensure a high state of preparedness.
As part of the inspection, Lt Gen Chauhan visited the Integrated All Arms Training Arena, where he observed live maneuver exercises. A key highlight of the demonstration was the integration of Drone Warfare capabilities, showcased by an Integrated Force to demonstrate modern combat lethality.
The GOC also personally reviewed the Ashni Platoon, commending the soldiers for their specialized skills and unwavering dedication to their unique operational roles.
