Udhampur 09 September :-Udhampur Police has successfully secured conviction of an accused person in a murder case registered at Police Station Ramnagar.The case pertains to FIR No. 143/2018 U/S 302 RPC of Police Station Ramnagar.
On the intervening night of 24/25-08-2018, accused Rumal Singh committed the murder of his real brother Rattan Singh over a land dispute stemming from past enmity.
After thorough investigation, Udhampur Police produced charge-sheet before the Hon’ble Court of Law.Today, the Hon’ble Principal District & Sessions Judge Udhampur convicted the accused Rumal Singh for commission of offence under Section 302 RPC. He has been sentenced to undergo Life Imprisonment and a fine of₹10,000/-.
