JAMMU, DECEMBER 19: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha released the fourth edition of “Kartavya Marg,” the annual in-house magazine of the Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust, during a ceremony at Lok Bhawan today. During the event, the Lieutenant Governor emphasized that India’s complete knowledge system, deeply rooted in the Vedas, offers a holistic worldview capable of providing solutions to the most pressing modern-day challenges. He described ancient texts such as the Vedas and Upanishads as invaluable treasures containing advanced knowledge in fields ranging from mathematics and medicine to physics, chemistry, and the humanities. By integrating these philosophical schools and architectural wisdom into the present day, he noted, India can build a more resilient society.
The Lieutenant Governor further observed that Indian culture and ethics serve as a vital compass for navigating complex global issues, promoting virtues of harmony and oneness. He asserted that this ancient wisdom provides a blueprint for a successful modern world, offering a roadmap for sustainable development, innovation, and a framework to combat climate change while ensuring the collective well-being of all. Commending the efforts of the Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust, he urged the younger generation to embrace these traditional values and ideals. Mahant Rohit Shastri, President of the Trust, noted that the magazine is published in Hindi, Sanskrit, English, and Dogri to ensure its message of cultural pride and moral awareness reaches a diverse audience. The release was attended by prominent members of the Trust, including Prof. Sharat Sharma, Dr. Vishav Gupta, and other distinguished scholars.
