Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Expresses Deep Grief Over Nagrota Drowning Tragedy

Jammu March 31, 2026 — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed profound anguish and heartbreak over the tragic drowning of three young boys in the Tawi River near Nagrota.

In a press communique released today, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed his deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the grieving families of the victims, who were residents of Jagti Colony.

Emphasizing the government’s solidarity with the bereaved during this devastating time, Shri Sinha described the loss of such young lives as “heart-wrenching” and a significant loss to the community.

Following the incident, the Lieutenant Governor remained in constant contact with senior administrative and police officials to monitor the situation.
